Angola Quick Travel Guide

But now that the endless years of war have finally ended, the chance to visit this amazingly rich country that has been isolated for nearly two generations is finally possible. The country is frantically upgrading much of the infrastructure that has been left to ruin for so many long years. This revitalization has stretched even to the national parks system, where places such as Kissama National Park are receiving an influx of transplanted animals to help bring the ecosystems back to life. There are also more than a fair share of natural wonders, such as the mysterious black rocks of Pungo Andongo and the captivating waterfalls of Calandula. The place is still "rough", but if you can just look below the surface, you'll find a phoenix waiting to rise from the ashes!
