Cameroon Quick Travel Guide
With a travel rating of 42%, Cameroon ranks right up there at the top of the list of African countries when it comes to a stable environment that offers something for everyone - an unfortunately rare combination for the region. At the top of the country's list of destinations is the awesome Mount Cameroon - the tallest peak in West Africa – which offers an amazing range of trekking options from the basic, to those strictly reserved for those with more experience. When you've reached the end of the trail, head for Waza National Park, where you can go in search of the Big 5 in one of the region's most well-organized and maintained national parks. But don't think that a trip to Cameroon is all go-go-go, as it also has some really cool, laid-back beaches that have been crafted for nothing more than relaxation. After looking into the PlanetHop! crystal ball, we reckon that Cameroon will one day rank amongst Africa's premiere travel destinations - as soon as the surrounding region settles down a bit.
