With a travel rating of 34%, Lesotho is one of the most unique of all African countries, literally being a country within a country, as it is surrounded on all sides by South Africa. While many might initially make the mistake of thinking that it's no more than an "off-shoot" of its larger, more power neighbor, they couldn't be further from the truth. The reality is that Lesotho is a proud, independent country that very much has its own unique characteristics.
