Costa Rica Quick Travel Guide
With a travel rating of 56%, Costa Rica is universally considered to be one of the "greenest" countries on the planet. Having developed a universal formula for sustainable tourism, this is about the best that Central America - if not the world - has to offer in tribute to mother nature. With a national park system that is virtually incomparable, your options include Tortuguero National Park (which is like a slice of the mighty Amazon) to Ricon de la Vieja National Park (which is akin to Yellowstone) you won't be short on a truly diverse range of ecosystems to explore. Of course you can't pass over the plethora of wildlife viewing experiences to be found, such as watching thousands of turtles laying their eggs on Playa Nancite to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, where you can view the denizens of the jungle from the canopy to the forest floor, during the day and at night. But if even all of this still leaves you lacking, go climb Cerro Chirripo (Costa Rica's highest peak), or go spelunking through the Barra Honda Caverns. If you haven't already guessed, after all of this, you're going to need a holiday from you holiday!
