Liechtenstein Quick Travel Guide
With a travel rating of 28%, Liechtenstein in many ways is more a city than a country. Nestled between Austria and Switzerland, it is the smallest independent state in Europe, covering a total area of only 160 sq km (62 sq mi). With a culture that is heavily influenced by its larger neighbors, this is one of the places that historically PlanetHoppers! have come to get that one extra stamp in the passport. But now, with the advent of modern technology, this manual process has largely disappeared, allowing Liechtenstein to stand on its own merits. Some of these, ironically, include the Postage Stamp Museum, which provides an amazing visual history of the country. When you include Vaduz Castle and Kunst Museum, you have more than enough to occupy the average PlanetHopper! for at least a day or two. You may not collect a traditional passport stamp anymore - except for the PlanetHop! passport stamp, that is. Visit Liechtenstein. You're also guaranteed to gain a few great travel memories.
