Take to the air - by plane or balloon - to get a bird's eyes view of Peru's Nazca Lines. These ancient geogylphs, or line markings, were first created by the ancient inhabitants of the Nazca Desert some 1,500 years ago. The largest of these markings is over 200 meters in length and are formed into such shapes as stylized hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, fish, sharks, orcas, llamas, and lizards. You are guaranteed to be amazed by the intricacies of these designs and sure to ask the question... did the ancients make all of these on their own or did they have help?
