Chile Quick Travel Guide
With a travel rating of 76%, Chile can be summed up as South America done easy. The roads are fantastic, the trains run on time, the people are friendly, the cities are safe and the food and wine are among the best in the world. In reality, there's not much to say about the place that isn't positive. With landscapes that range from desert to glacier, Chile is a place that can satisfy an enormous range of passions. If you start in the north, you can explore the desert where the view of the night star is among one of the most vivid in the world. Or perhaps you would prefer to head for the coast where you can mingle amongst the prolific penguin colonies of Ancud. Future south you will find the barren landscape of Patagonia where the town of Isla Navarino is akin to the wild west perched at the end of the world. Then, for the truly adventurous, you can continue off the coast to the legendary and mysterious Easter Island, where the amazing stone heads stare out to sea like lonely sentinels. In summary, it's a country you're guaranteed to dream about returning to again and again.
