Venezuela Quick Travel Guide
With a travel rating of 72%, Venezuela has an enormous variety of fantastic destinations, but for some reason it rarely ends up at the top of the average PlanetHopper's! itinerary. One of the primary reasons may be the fact that Venezuela is quite a wealthy country that doesn't need to rely on tourism to keep its economy afloat. As a well-to-do country, Venezuela's infrastructure is more modern than many of its neighbors. However, with all of this said, there are still a few world famous icons that anybody would be wise to visit. At the top of this list is Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world. Then there is Mount Roraima, the fictional inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's immortal novel, The Lost World. On top of that, Venezuela has more than a fair allotment of both Amazon Rainforest and world class Caribbean beach front real estate. So, as you can see, Venezuela is absolutely top notch in virtually every category of interest to the average PlanetHopper!
